Since it’s safe to put a lithium battery inside the trailer, you may find yourself wanting to redo the wiring.

Note: the breakaway switch should be connected to the battery side of the disconnect switch.

Note: The items listed are only examples. You need to calculate your setup’s needs to pick the right amperage for each cable, fuse, circuit breaker, etc.

Battery cables
– I used 4 awg since I have a simple setup. The factory wiring is 8 awg. Some people use 2, 1, 1/0 awg wire.
