Keeping your trailer clean will prolong its life and keep it looking like new.
Note: It’s best to wash or wax your car, boat, RV on a cloudy day or in the shade. The sun will dry the water, soap and wax and leave spots or dried wax that is difficult to wipe off.
Items you may need:
Bucket
Water Hose
The FITT rubber hose is a great lightweight hose for at the house. I have two at work and one at home.
Brush
Using a soft bristled brush on a broom handle makes cleaning the roof and sides of the trailer much easier and reaches high spots so you’re standing on the ground and not on a ladder.
Miscellaneous
Roof Cleaner
Roof Conditioner
Wash & Wax (walls)
Drying
Apply Wax
Wax applicator pads work very well for applying wax.
Remove Wax
Microfiber towels are soft and won’t scratch the trailer’s surface.
Spray Wax
Spray wax puts on a thinner layer of protection but it applies easier.
Hand/Buffer Wax
Can be applied with an applicator pad or a buffer.
Ceramic Coating Wax
Ceramic coating is very popular since it lasts longer than regular wax and provides great protection.
Polish/Compound
Removes light scratches and oxidation.
Buffer
Makes applying the wax and it’s the best tool to remove scratches.
