Whether the decals on your trailer are cracking or peeling or you prefer the cleaner look without them, removing them is a simple task. Also, as the trailer gets older, the sun’s UV rays makes the paint dull and creates a ghosting effect. The sooner you remove them, especially from a new trailer, the better.
Supplies:
Hair dryer (heat gun is too hot)
Denatured alcohol
Cleaning rag or paper towel
Step 1 – Heat (low setting) and peel off the decals
Step 2 – Wipe off residue with rag or paper towel and denatured alcohol
Finished product
